Haven at Home is a private, holistic in-home care agency based in Lee, NH, serving seniors and families across New Hampshire's Seacoast. We don't do cookie-cutter care — we blend traditional caregiving with holistic support including music therapy, animal-assisted therapy, and aromatherapy.

The Role
What you'll do every day — and why it matters.
Provide personal care — bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and sensitivity Support mobility, transfers, and safe movement throughout the home Prepare nutritious meals tailored to client preferences and dietary needs Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and home organization Support medication reminders under nursing oversight Participate in holistic therapy sessions — music, animals, aromatherapy Accompany clients on errands, appointments, and outings Document observations and communicate changes to the Clinical Team Follow individualized care plans with consistency and compassion
What We're Looking For
Skills we need. Heart we can't teach.
Required
- 1+ year of caregiving or home care experience
- Valid New Hampshire driver's license and reliable vehicle
- CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check and reference verification
- Strong communication skills with clients and families
- Genuine compassion and patience
Preferred (but not required)
- CNA, HHA, or PCT certification
- Experience with memory care or dementia clients
- Comfort working with pets or therapy animals
- Interest in holistic wellness and alternative therapies
- Bilingual skills a plus
- Experience with live-in or overnight care
Compensation & Benefits
